working Bee and 1 arrow round
Hi all sorry this is late, I just haven't had time to scratch myself. A really big black cloud sent Gloria & I rushing home, after the last few months we are a little paranoid about getting in & out of home. It also saved me the shame of being absolutely smashed by Grandad. I think that by target 7 he was about 3 million points ahead of me. Hopefully he has peaked a little early.
Scores for the day are
Coins Alastair a rather shabby 386, Home brew Garry 384, Grandad Cec 378, Stewart 358, Don't mention me Steve 334, Fingers Ray 330, Brad 264, Feathers Dave using a childs bow borrowed arrows and nothing else a creditable 180, Cupcake & Teabag DNF
All the above plus the Usher family including Karens' mum, Brett, Matt & Cooper all arrived for the working bee. Brett still hasn't quite worked out the correct way to use a ride-on mower, as a guide Brett sit on the seat, if you are pushing it you have done something wrongSunday, February 12, 2012
Club shoot 11/2/12 3 arrow
Numbers are still down, the weather isn't helping as people can't find enough dry time to do the domestic chores that just keep building up. I think Alastair said you shot the Goanna range straight after the storm.....well done. Alastairs brand spanking new Merlin has finally arrived from the mother land. Scores for the day are:-
Coins Alastair 392, Scribe Neil 384, Home Brew Gary 382, Martin McFly 380, BP Glenn 372, Grandad Cec 366, Sam 314, Fingers Ray 202, Peter 104. Alastair is still on fire, but I think Neil probably was todays hotshot. Yes we are still isolated making it just over 3 weeks now. Bugger!!

Nomination for citizen of the year
Hi all, Once again we are flooded in, this one is a big one and if the forcast is correct it could be 2 to 3 weeks before we see Kempsey again. the causeway is over 2 meters and climbing with no real break in sight. several 20-40 ml days plus 1 at 40-80ml of rain in the next seven.
On another note, back in November 2011 Macleay Valley Archers were proud to nominate our president Mr Cecil Apps as the Kempsey shires Citizen of the year. Sadly Cecil didn't win the award but that doesn't alter the high esteem that the club members hold for Cecil.
Sorry you didn't win Cec, but as club members go you are hard to beat. Shoot straight, enjoy 2012, let Teabag win a few & enjoy life.

Proposed club calendar
Go to future discussions and you will find the PROPOSED club shoot calendar. please note if there is an ABA national or branch shoot then that takes precedence. No club activity will occur when there is a NNSW Branch run shoot within 2 hours drive of Kempsey.
cheers Teabag.
