what happened.... who knows.
Sorry everybody, I have no idea what happened shooting wise at the club this week. Cupcake & I were borderline flooded so jumped in the diesel and went to the club for lunch, we had no intentions of shooting, we just went for lunch and had agreed we would hightail it home if the rain became heavy. Granddad, Fingers, Home Brew Garry, Coins Alastair, Leachbait Bruce, BC Liam, Cupcake & Teabag all turned up.You really have to wonder about the mental state of our membership. We had lunch a few cups of tea a big chin wag & then the heavens opened, getting wet was the order of the day, so it was good bye from me & goodbye from her. We bolted to the truck and went home.
There that's it.

World IFAA indoor match 19/1/13
Well, well, well. That was interesting. In my wildest dreams I never thought we would get 10 shooters turn up to give the indoor a go. The range had been set up and all that needed to be added was a 6mtr. marque over the butts and the shooting line carefully measured and marked out. Unfortunatelly somebody left the side windows open and the cross gale was blowing its socks off. Still it did drop the temp to a very pleasant level. I think all who shot enjoyed the event. It was funny cramming 3 weeks normal shooting into the first day back. Bow fitness or lack of it took its toll on several shooter, Grandads good end of year form carried through to this round whilst brothers Dion & Martin went at it hammer and tongue. (see the scores.) Husband and wife team Karen & Alastair finished 9 points apart with all round honours to Alastair. Garry jammed himself between them and was the dark horse of the day. The bare bow section was a bit light on with only Donald & Ray. Ray was interesting to watch every alternate end had really tight groups interspaced with oh! damn type groups. Granddad had one arrow that was occompanied by loud noices of air escaping from his aged body. Poor granddad. Cup cake went better in the second half than the first, she was shooting nice groups but only around the edge of the 5. I actually expected the 5 to drop out.
Scores for the day:- Coins Alastair 290, Home brew Garry 285, Cola Karen 281, Martin McFly 275, Hitchhiker Dion 274, Cupcake Gloria 250, Fingers Ray BB 239, Scribe Neil 239, Granddad Cec 223. Donald where's your trophy BB 108.
Next week is the official start of the club year, till then
