IFAA round 31/3/12

Hi all this will be my last post for a few weeks & I must start on a very serious note. It appears that Mr Cecil Apps our vertically challenged club President has lodged an official complaint.It seems that He feels I haven't given him the encouragement he feels he deserves. I would like to go on record as saying Grandad is one of the most outstanding archers I have ever met. In 50 years of playing archery I have competed against State, National & world record holders. Non of them shoot as well as Grandad, each shot is a joy to watch, his approach is impeccable he has a monotone method of shooting each action is a mirror image of the preceding shot. In fact it's like ground hog day.

In simple terms he is brilliant, outstanding, good and excels at all forms of archery. He is one outstanding Toxophilite. I can't explain how Cola Karen managed to beat him.

The club was saved embarrassment when Peter in a brilliant move scored with his last arrow. No Nudie run required. I can't mention names but one of our Cubs scored 107 whilst his dad scored 72 no names but Dad drives a red V8 landrover which is strange because so does Mat.

Cola Karen has just returned from the UK where she studdied Margaret Thatcher. Hence her new iron fist approach to the club. Be warned you are no longer allowed to create a tea tree effect. You are to put the tea bags in a dish......no not me the real tea bags.

Sorry about the spelling mistakes. Some are because I simply don't know how to spell the word and some are because I'm a little dim witted and don't notice for several days.

This week we shot a strange IFAA round 10 targets 3 arrows at each target, we had a lovely little group. We did however loose Grandad on a couple of targets as he wondered of into the long grass, we then held a meeting to decide if we should just leave him or try to find him. It was a close vote, but we ignored the result and went to find him.

We had a huge turn out this week with about 24 people at the club, results are:-
