ABA 3 arrow and working bee

Great working bee about 10 members arrived to contribute their time & energy. The practice range was mowed, new butts installed signage added. looked almost to good to use. The camping area was increased by about 43.5%, toilets cleaned admittedly it was a man clean but hey! canteen cleaned and the ranges started. All in all a very good effort. Thanks everybody.
As we wonder along life's journey it surprises me just where the roads lead. As you know distance and my driving speed means the trip home takes about an hour. Now this trip used to be quite pleasant, I would offer sage like advice on how my good wife could enhance her scores and we would pat me on the back about how well I shot, even if Cec & Karen had beaten me. All in all a pleasant journey home.Oh how the trip home has turned into a nightmare. Now all we talk about is PB's (hers), what I can do to catch her. Why my PB's only go up by a couple of points every 12 months. Why if only I could have hit target 12 with my first arrow and changed those two 16's into 20's I would have got close to she who must be obeyed and then we start on how much Cec and or Karen beat me bye. All in all a horrible trip home.
Scores for the day:- Feathers Dave 388, Steve 386, Coins Alastair 386, Home brew Garry 380, Cupcake Gloria & Grandad Cec 374, Jacob 372, Tea Bag 368, Scribe Neil 366, BP Glenn 360, Yellow Peg Stuart 328, SWR Brad 304, Finger Ray 300, Leach Bait Bruce 284.
